For this Granville County genealogical miscellany, Ray has assembled the data in a variety of lists, some of the most notable being: Notes from the Records of the Counties of Anson, Buncombe, Caswell, Chatham, Cleveland, Duplin, and Franklin; First and Earliest County Courts of Granville; Muster Roll of the First Residents in Granville County in 1754; Taxpayers of Granville County in 1788; and Marriage Bonds and Records of Caswell, Chatham, Franklin, and Granville Counties.
