Lord, Show Me My Salvation (el. knyga) (skaityta knyga) | knygos.lt

Aprašymas

Perhaps you already know that Jesus died for your sins. You may have known that for many years. Yet I wonder whether you've ever stopped to ask yourself how much you really understand about the salvation He came to bring.

Many Christians spend their whole lives carrying burdens the Lord never intended them to carry. They believe they have been forgiven, yet still struggle with guilt. They know that God loves them, yet somehow feel that He must be disappointed with them. They long to draw close to Him, yet often find themselves keeping their distance.

This book was written because I believe our heavenly Father wants something far better for His children. He wants us to understand the greatness of the salvation He has prepared for us through His Son. As He unfolds that salvation throughout the Scriptures, He reveals not only what He has done for us, but who we now are in Christ and how He Himself sees us.

Together we shall follow that wonderful story from the Garden of Eden to the Cross and beyond, discovering along the way why Jesus had to die and what His finished work has accomplished for everyone who belongs to Him. Step by step, the great words of salvation-forgiveness, redemption, justification, reconciliation, the new birth, sanctification and glorification-become more than theological expressions. They become the Father's own explanation of what He has lovingly done for His children.

My prayer is that, before you reach the final page, you will begin to see your salvation from an altogether different perspective. You may even find that your own prayer has changed from, "Lord, show me my salvation," to, "Lord, show me Your salvation. Help me see myself as You see me."
