The image of a red double-decker bus or the bright tunic of a Yeoman guard will always be associated with London. The United Kingdom's capital is known for many things, including Big Ben, Tower Bridge, royal processions, high tea at the Ritz, cucumber sandwiches at Buckingham Palace and tailored suits from Savile Row. London has seen the formation of many world trends including 1970s punk culture and Cockney rhyming slang. Today it is one of the world's most popular tourist destinations and for very good reason. Brighton is an attractive seaside city in East Sussex on the south coast of England. The city is conveniently located less than 50 miles south of London and is popular with new media professionals who commute from Brighton to the capital. Brighton is sometimes called "London-by-the-Sea."
