Marion Berndt is a primary school teacher out of conviction and a writer out of passion. At the age of five she had already announced to her family she would be a teacher and "book writer". Lockdown-Poetry is her first poetry collection. She started writing it during the worldwide covid lockdown in 2020.

Her collection is a dialogue between a woman and a man stuck in two different countries, as it happened to so many couples at that time.

While her poems talk about "Our lives... braked", Marion's poems are full of love and the relationship that can sustain two people.
