Excerpt From Book A season of purpose is a season of change. It is a season that will transform your present situation into a destiny moment...For several people in the Bible when God wanted to release them into their greatness, their names had to be changed. Their names had to reflect the new season or the new thing God was doing in their lives. Their past identities were no longer suited for their current status or future destiny. Abram became Abraham. Jacob became Israel. Saul became Paul. Their new names were instrumental in identifying the newly released destiny of God. For every season God takes us through, there is a character change. If we do not embrace this change; then we permit our past to keep us in captivity. There is always a new "name" for the new season.
