Aprašymas

Three friends. One very strange town. A corrupt mayor, poisoned water and a population that turns into flesh-eating mutants at midnight.

Chad, Brad and Sven are on the ultimate American road trip when a closed road leaves them stranded in Little Town Blue. At first, the town seems merely odd. Then they discover the truth about Mayor Flyn, his highly profitable water company, and what happens after dark.

What follows is a fast, anarchic comedy-horror about friendship, political complacency, corporate power and the compromises people make when a broken system still seems to work for them.

• Fast-paced ensemble comedy packed with physical humour, satire and theatrical invention
• Flexible casting with 32 characters and extensive doubling
• Playable with a cast of five or more, depending on how adventurous you want to be
• Ideal for multi-roling, quick changes, improvisation and inventive low-tech staging
• Strong roles for an ensemble, alongside the three central characters Chad, Brad and Sven
• Contemporary themes including corporate greed, political corruption, social responsibility and complacency
• Perfect for Fringe, university, drama-school and emerging theatre companies

Red Biscuit originally performed Little Town Blue with a cast of five, using three actors as the central trio and two performers taking on the remaining roles at considerable speed. The published edition encourages companies to adapt the staging, expand or reduce the multi-roling and make the show their own.

Created by Red Biscuit and developed over a decade of friendship and collaboration, Little Town Blue combines character comedy, horror and political satire in a gloriously chaotic theatrical world.
