A strange sequence of events had led me to the point of a mental breakdown.

The biggest realisation I had during the time was how important it was to live in the now. And once I put my mind to it, things took a turn for the better in my life.

While on the internet, I came across a 'Photographer for Hire' advertisement. It was the beginning of what was to become an indispensable part of my journey.

'Light' is a book about the people I met in Perth, Australia and lessons I learnt during a difficult period in my life. The stories featured in the book, with photographs completely shot over the course of 2020, mean a lot to me because when I look back at that time, they were the light at the end of my tunnel.

I hope these stories inspire and make you believe in second chances as they did for me.

This book is dedicated to life's surprises.
