Haskell M. Miller, Ph.D., is professor emeritus of sociology and social ethics at Wesley Theological Seminary, Washington, DC. He is an ordained member of the Baltimore Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. Prior to his twenty years at the seminary, he served as pastor of several churches in Texas, Tennessee, and Virgina; also, as a college teacher and administrator and as a university chaplain.
