Jessica and Ted's marriage is at a stalemate: though married for years, the marriage is neither a nightmare nor perfect. J He's the best she could ever ask for: nice, smart, handsome, and even considerate in bed. But that's exactly the problem; it's too considerate and safe. It has worked for her for a long time, but when the routine settled in, Jessica suddenly found herself wanting. When Ted starts planning for them to try having a baby, Jessica couldn't be more unsure of her lessening love for her seemingly perfect husband. As the time comes for the scheduled planting in Jessica's garden comes closer, so does her doubts about their relationship. However, her hope remains that somehow this night might not be like all the other nights before and that Ted might not be so routine after all. And maybe, just maybe Ted gives her what she really wants in bed, variety. Will Ted once again be the same as he has always been, nice and safe?
