Eons ago, the Empyrean comet exploded, unleashing its energies all around the galaxy. With these powers, six beings will be chosen to bear special abilities. Known as the Empyreans, they are destined to defeat a great evil that will arise from the darkness of space and threaten life throughout the galaxy. Leo Stargazer, a child from the planet Felineatius, finds a remnant of the Empyrean comet close to his home. The shard grants him mystical Empyrean abilities, but just as he begins to grasp these powers and how to use them, his home world is attacked. Leo manages to escape, the sole survivor of his people. As he matures on a strange world, he learns about the prophecy that will direct his destiny. Tasked with locating the other Empyreans, he sets off on a journey to gather those like him in order to protect the galaxy from chaos and destruction. In this novel, a Felinean child chosen to be an Empyrean, a powerful being fated to face an evil force, must find others with Empyrean abilities and prepare for battle against an oncoming darkness.
