This text offers practical ideas and guidance for activities through which all areas of the EYFS can be delivered. Each chapter presents a different Learning Thread. For each thread, the author details a number of activities, lists effective resources and most importantly explores opportunities for child initiated learning. Ideas for role play areas and further scope for learning in each thread are also covered. The text demonstrates how these activities can be used whilst planning continuous provision. This book also:
