These are the words nineteen-year-old Winter Carlisle hears after she wakes in an unknown mansion. Surrounded by twelve strangers and a ghost from her past, she wants nothing more than to go back to her quiet college life-full of journalism classes and boring stories. But as lives are taken one by one, the smell of cheap coffee becomes a distant memory.

Their captor's message is simple: one of them knows something, and the rest won't make it out until they find out who. The remaining survivors search for a way to escape-and the reason why they were chosen. As games are played and secrets are revealed, Winter questions her own deeply buried guilt, and whether the person behind it all might be her. Once, she might have been too scared to ask questions.
