Liberal arts professor Dr. Mark Cason is estranged from his father, a bitter old man who loves Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck so much that he named his dog after them. After a stroke lands Mark's father in the hospital, Limbaugh Beck gets loose and is roaming the streets of south St. Louis. So when a rash of vicious animal attacks terrifies the community, the big German shepherd becomes an easy target for people's fears.

His father's crisis causes Mark to reflect on the conservative values promoting ignorance and intolerance that have torn at the fabric of American society, as they have also torn at his relationship with his family. Yet, in an interesting twist of fate, they are also bringing him closer to a free-spirited student named Haley, with whom he has edifying discussions about conservatism in America.

With a title that pokes fun at Bill O'Reilly's books, Killing Limbaugh provides intriguing mystery and drama while taking a big bite out of right-wing bluster.
