For a whole year, Eric Chandler wrote a poem after every cross-country ski, run, hike, and paddle. Chandler logged his observations both at home in Duluth, Minnesota and while traveling as an airline pilot. A few months into this project, he wrote a haibun (with its combination of prose and haiku) and stuck with that form for the rest of the year.
