Journey to the Light: the quest for happiness and love through faith is a touching story dramatizing a young girl's quest for happiness and love. Along life's journey, Amanda transforms from a frightened little girl into a glorious, confident woman.

Amanda's difficulty journey through life begins as a child--unwanted and unloved; raised in a traditional, religious and chaotic home, Amanda desires a happy, stable and fulfilling life. She is betrothed at the age of twenty by her parents. Thinking she has found happiness in her marriage, joy turns into misery; and her husband, Morgan, betrays her.

Life continues downhill through a series of unfortunate events, even through much prayer and seeking the Lord. Amanda eventually resigns to a life of misery. Just when life hits rock bottom and a total standstill, Jesus comes through for her. Heaven's doors fling open, and Jesus comes swooping down, sweeping her off her feet, changing her life dramatically--in a way she never dreamed possible!
