Limaonen Imchen in the book, Journey: Finding the Hidden Gems, invites the readers to take a look at his "Journey" by sharing a couple of instances that contributed the most towards his transformation from a frustrated and angry teenager to a patient and God fearing man. Throughout the book, he reiterates his purpose for sharing his life story which is to guide the young people in search for a direction and thereby, help them understand the purpose of life. Young people often misunderstand, but at the same time, they are also the most misunderstood; so this book comes along at an opportune time, as today, the majority of Nagaland's population comprise of the youth. This young population more than ever needs leaders who can motivate and help them discover their true worth, mobilize and channelize their gifts towards the construction of a loving, peaceful and God fearing society. The book powerfully drives home the fact that life is not easy. The title of the book clearly states that these "gems" about life is hidden and one has to search for it. The process of being disciplined by our heavenly Father for His divine purpose is arduous, slow and beyond our comprehension. Journey 6 By highlighting some of his own experiences, he urges the readers to be patient, to keep a willing heart and an open mind, and to be hopeful in the Lord so that one will not miss the illumination that will be bestowed upon an individual at the end of it all.
