Jotunn and Sky are both abandoned kittens. Jotunn was found in a drain, and Sky was found in a groove he fell into whilst fleeing a pack of dogs. The main theme that Preea wanted to convey in this book is about becoming a family and feeling safe within that family unit, despite the differences in each of the main characters' lineage
