Aprašymas

A tense, salt-stung downrush of a novel about being in the wrong kind of love with the worst kind of man—a formally inventive, feverish, and propulsive literary debut for readers of Garth Greenwell and Ocean Vuong

Harry is in love with Jonny, and Jonny likes to pretend they’re not having sex.

They arrive on a windswept Greek island for a long weekend but immediately their unspoken arrangement begins to crack. Between afternoons in sparkling turquoise water and slow hungover mornings, the other guests begin to see what Harry cannot say. On a wild, drunken night, his obsession with Jonny finally shatters, and what’s underneath is cavernous and terrifying.

Jonny is a fierce and provocative work of fiction from a major new talent, a sharp exploration of obsessional anxiety, and a plunge into the thrall of desire as it sinks into something darker.
