Jagged Edges (el. knyga) (skaityta knyga) | Jennifer Jones | knygos.lt

Aprašymas

From the hollows where darkness keeps its truest counsel, Jennifer Jones steps forward with a voice sharpened by years of carving her truth in the quiet and the ache. Her earlier works were the tremors - necessary, honest, searching - but Jagged Edges is the moment the ground erupts beneath her feet, where she stops softening the truth and lets it splinter.

What she offers here is not a collection; it is a ritual object - a sequence of wounds rendered with precision, each poem paired with artwork that turns the page into a threshold. Every piece is a mirror held too close, a shard that insists you study your own fractures before you dare mention healing. These poems do not comfort; they confront. They name the darkness, embrace it, and refuse to lie about the long road through. Here, the reader becomes the initiate; the poems and images work in tandem - art within art - to force a reckoning with the parts of ourselves we hide, the griefs we cradle, the truths we fear will rip us open.

Jennifer Jones writes to affirm what most people avoid: that darkness is not a detour but a passage, and the only way out is through the break.

When your heart is torn into pieces,

bleeding, all that remains is jagged edges

...but in Jennifer's hands, even those etch a map to the first breath after ruin.
