Aprašymas
Legendary NFL player and coach Tony Dungy and his wife, Lauren, offer a fun and engaging story that encourages kids to put down their devices and connect with others through a new sport or activity.
Jaden's family is talking excitedly over dinner about that afternoon's flag football game, but all Jaden can think about is beating his high score on his new favorite game. Concerned about all the time Jaden is spending on his tablet, his parents, Coach Dungy and Coach Lauren, tell him that he will be joining his siblings on the flag football team.
After a tough week of practice, Jaden is surprised by how exciting his first game is--and by how good it feels to be part of the team. As the weeks go by, he realizes that he's having more fun helping his team work toward a championship than he is playing video games.
Jaden Joins the Team, the latest book in the Team Dungy series, shows children ages 6-12 the benefits of balancing screen time with activities that promote positive social interaction, build skills, and encourage a healthy self-image.
