From the beginning of time mankind has attempted to organize society in such a way as to give power, riches, prestige, and pleasure to those in authority. To keep the lower classes in line these things are redistributed to a small degree according to obedience and compliance. In such a society the dictator must "chop down the tall corn." This is a story about the tall corn.
