The aim of this manual is to provide a concise overview of the diverse aspects of business administration. It is intended for anyone interested in gaining a comprehensive overview in the shortest possible time, without having to delve into the specific details of each subdiscipline. Above all, it serves as a companion textbook for students at the University of Continuing Education Krems attending the lecture Introduction to General Business Administration. Illustrations and clearly structured lists are provided in a slide deck accessible via a link and can therefore be easily adapted to current developments. In addition to references and presentations of the individual subject areas, key concepts and aspects are discussed in a practical context using the fictional example of Hugo AG. Exercises help students consolidate and deepen their knowledge. The manual also includes a dictionary.
