Decisions of international courts and arbitrators, as well as judgments of national courts, are fundamental elements of modern public international law. The International Law Reports is wholly devoted to the regular and systematic reporting in English of such decisions. It is therefore an absolutely essential work of reference. Volume 214 includes 2024 orders on the requests for provisional measures of the International Court of Justice in Application of the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide in the Gaza Strip (South Africa v. Israel), 2024 judgment on the merits of the European Court of Human Rights in Ukraine v. Russia (Re Crimea) and 2020 translated judgment of the Constitutional Court of Thailand in Witteveen's Application.
