For this new and most probably last volume of exegetical notes I may partly repeat what I wrote in the Preface of the previous one. This second volume of fifty exegetical notes on the New Testament contains three main sections: Synoptic Gospels, John and Paul. A fourth short section with sermons is added.Again, close reading and redaction criticism, diachronic as well as synchronic analysis, are used to examine the meaning intended by the author.
