"Intangible Souvenirs" is a compilation of selected poems and brief stories written by the author over the span of more than 50 years. Pieces written by candlelight in the jungle of South America, poems penned in bunkers under enemy fire during the Vietnam War, odes scribbled down by the sandy shores of tropical beaches, and expressive reflections of the dense, verdant woods of his childhood home in Pennsylvania, evoke a range of emotions to which nearly everyone can relate.

Poetry and stories in the book explore joy in the wonder of a fresh snowfall, the magic of catching summer fireflies, the deep sorrow felt in losing a loved one, plus poignant examinations of many aspects of nature, courage, fear, life, and love beyond measure.
