About the Author: Kathryn Wilson was born in Liverpool and studied Illustration & Graphic design at Liverpool John Moores University, after graduating she went on to illustrate others books and exhibited her illustrations in an exhibition in London alongside Quentin Blake. Her biggest work of art can be seen near the Antony Gormley statues at Crosby beach in Liverpool, a colourful mural 46m x 16m depicting local history. Kathryn co-founded C.I.C Creative Balance in 2012 delivering weekly children's Art Clubs, school workshops and community events. She now enjoys creating beautiful colour in storybooks that she hopes will inspire young budding artists to one day write and illustrate their own stories.
