The goal of proclaiming the gospel and Christianity is to make disciples of all nations, transform lives and communities. Given the varied worldviews and cultures, there is often an unexamined mixture of the gospel and traditional worldview, which impairs effective communication and understanding of the gospel leading to syncretism that hinders this goal. This book seeks to examine how this unexamined mixture (adaptation) of the Gospel and traditional religion worldview adversely affects the communication and understanding of the gospel. It has as objective not only to expose the challenges but also suggesting ways to effectively communicate the gospel without resorting to syncretism in the churches in Bamenda, Cameroon.
