Aprašymas

First published in 1937, the theme in Indian and Western Philosophy is the contrast between the Indian philosophical attitude to the main problems of thought, and that of Western Philosophy, which according to the author was founded on the Sophists of Ancient Greece. It is subdivided into comparative studies in Theology, Ontology, Eschatology, Ethics, Logic, Aesthetics, Science and concludes with a brief discussion on the apparent rapprochement between West and East. This is a must-read text for students of philosophy.
