Incardceration is a collection of inspirational poems for the incarcerated community. This body of work attempts to provide open communication between family members and their incarcerated love ones. The contents run the gamut of reconciliation, greetings, challenges, chastisement, reflection, defiance, acceptance and hope. This collection gives an in-depth look at the nuances of the criminal justice system and places the missed relationships at the very center. There is a poem or greeting from every family-rich or poor; to every inmate-guilty or innocent.
