Aprašymas

Imperium of Thought presents two rare National Socialist texts from the final years of the Second World War, offering a direct window into the worldview of that era from non-German volunteers. Both texts were penned by men of the Dutch SS, and were originally published for Adolf Hitler's 55th birthday.

The first text, Adolf Hitler: Führer of All Germanic Peoples was issued in April-May 1944 as a special commemorative and instructional double edition of the SS-Vormingsbladen, a training bulletin for members of the Dutch SS. Authored by prominent figures within the organization, the work shows how many Dutch saw Hitler as a leader, symbol, and unifying force across borders. Through biography, political theology, poetic expression, and ideological exegesis, it fuses the concepts of leadership, destiny, and unyielding belief that defined late National Socialist thought.

The companion text, The Reich Idea, systematizes this worldview across five chapters. Here, the Reich that its authors were fighting for emerges not as a mere state, but as an all-encompassing moral and spiritual order, rooted in duty, lived experience, geographic vision, and historical continuity. Together, these works reveal the inner structures of symbolism, belief, and legitimacy through which National Socialism sought to sustain itself amid its gravest trials.

Antelope Hill Publishing is proud to publish this historical source material for all who wish to examine the mechanisms of ideology and propaganda from within.
