There's no religion on earth which does not practice the ancient secret of fasting. It is universally acknowledged in every religion that the doorway into the supernatural realms and transcendental power is through fasting. Humanity's fall was through food; the first parent (Adam and Eve) made a voluntary decision to choose food over divine power. It becomes inversely proper that in-order for man to attain his rightful position with God and earn that absolute intimacy with his maker, he must make another voluntary decision to deny himself of food. Fasting is an inevitable practice for any true believer. Adam and Eve failed God because they were not able to deny themselves of one plate of food. Esau lost his birthright and the position to be the head of God's chosen people, because he failed to sacrifice one meal for his destiny. Jesus Himself, had to make a choice between divine destiny and food. Today, you have an opportunity to cultivate divine supernatural power by denying yourself food. The question remains, what is more important to you: Food or the Power of God? You decide!
