I spent the better part of the last thirty-six years attempting to have short stories, poetry, children's stories, or nonsense literature published to no avail. So now that I am a retired man that spent thirtysix years working to protect public health, I will be again testing the waters endeavoring to have my written word published. The stories, most of the time, were based on true occurrences. The jokes and stories could be told in mixed company and in front of children. However, those were the days of Jack Benny and Red Skelton, when four-letter words were not needed constantly to create humor. My poetry and nonsense will be scattered among my tales and book chapters. Relax and enjoy yourself. I did writing it.
