Have you every wished to be something else? Journey with a fellow day dreamer as she imagines her cares away. I wish I Were a Flower leads children to consider what they imagine, and provides their grownups with an opportunity to reassure. Written as a dialogue between a distracted girl; Ella, and her distracted father, the two characters coexist then reconnect as her imagination unravels. Karla Keatinge seeks to create conversations between children and their grownups, with more listening, understanding and attention, that is reflective of the love that is shared.
