Aprašymas

Monster's back! - and this time he's determined to NOT clean his room. Book two in another great series from the award-winning creators of How to Party Like a Snail and Otis & Peanut.

Monster and Bird are doing the happy dance. They're about to play Captain Donutface's Super Sprinkles Bake-Off Ultra Deluxe Board Game Edition! But first, Monster needs to find the game ... in his room. Which is tricky, because there's just SO MUCH STUFF everywhere. And Monster simply will not clean it up. In fact, he'll do anything to avoid cleaning his room. But when his numerous efforts to not clean his room somehow don't turn up the game, will Monster have to rethink his stance?

Award-winning creator duo Naseem Hrab and Kelly Collier's Monster and Bird face a new dilemma, with practical Bird having to nudge stubborn Monster along to get him to do what (readers know long before he does!) he has to do. This time, it's an epic battle between Monster and mess, and children will be delighted by Monster's steadfast resistance to cleaning. Full of surprise twists and told almost entirely in laugh-out-loud funny dialogue bubbles, this picture book makes a super-entertaining read-aloud and offers an unexpected take on a universally relatable topic. Monster's emotions loom large in Kelly Collier's compelling illustrations, which are bursting with loads of humorous touches in Monster's mess. As an added and clever bonus, a board game called Captain Donutface's Epic Mess Quest is tucked into the story that could serve double duty as a guide for a child's own clean-up efforts!
