Former serial killer Carol Quinn is about to get out of prison (again), just in time to attend the wedding of friends and fellow retirees Geoffrey and Catherine on a remote island in the English countryside. When Catherine's horrendous ex-husband Nigel is found murdered on the morning of the wedding, however, all hell breaks loose.

In an unexpected turn of events, the charmingly hapless (and only police officer on the island) Detective Constable Ryan Fleet insists that the wedding go ahead as planned, if only to keep all the suspects in one place and find the killer before the all is said and done.
