A "Me Too: story long before "Me Too". This book is a memoir of a woman now in her 60's that are somewhat laughable, yet cringe worthy experiences of the 70's and 80's. Our heroine chronicles her experiences from her early childhood, which defined her, to her young professional years where bosses assumed "personal perks" part of hiring an attractive young woman as normal. Taylor speaks irreverently of the years she had to quit jobs to remain a "good girl". The history culminates at age 35 when she meets her 'night in shinning armor', albeit an armor a bit dented and scratched. Although Taylor can now sit back and smile at the situations she found herself in, it has a different hue in light of "Me Too". These days she is saddened that women, old and young, must still put up with such debasement.
