Aprašymas

What does it mean to proudly serve as a Sailor?

A Sailor's Day can begin before sunrise, when the ship is already awake, and the crew is preparing for whatever the day may bring.

I Am a Sailor takes young readers aboard for an engaging, age-appropriate look at life in the Navy. Children will discover how Sailor's practice safety drills, maintain equipment, chart courses, move supplies, communicate, prepare meals, care for others, and assist with rescues at sea.

Whether they serve aboard ships, beneath the water in submarines, or above the waves in aircraft, Sailors depend on preparation and teamwork. Every crew member has an important responsibility, and everyone works together to keep the ship safe and ready.

The story also gently acknowledges that service can take Sailors far from home, while reminding children that love can remain strong across any distance.

Created for ages 3-7, this colorful picture book focuses on cooperation, responsibility, courage, and helping others-without emphasizing combat.

Perfect for military families, classrooms, libraries, and children fascinated by ships and the sea.
A reassuring introduction to Navy life from the Proud to Serve series.
