Hope in Hell is the gripping, true story of lives lost in the depths of drug addiction and their uncertain paths to recovery. A war veteran, a born-again mother, a street punk, and a prostitute strive to complete a challenging 90-day rehab program. Acton Rehabilitation Center, where summers are scorching and tumbleweeds outnumber buildings, is a desert community approximately fifty miles and a world away from both downtown L.A. and Malibu's fancy rehab centers. Yet it is a haven for those who have been living in hell. The raw feelings and changing attitudes of those at Acton are revealed as they navigate their way through the Twelve Step-based program.
