The physicians and the medicine in general play an essential role our civilization, and it is a great pleasure to remember and celebrate them, looking from a recent perspective.I dedicate this succinct medicine history, with much gratitude, to the very dedicated physicians who help me over the years - I will mention here, in alphabetical order, those who I remember (I apologize for not remembering those who helped me in my childhood, and others who helped me occasionally): Dr. Peter Barley, Dr. Bita, Dr. Dimescu, Dr. Milton Drake, Dr. Dumitrescu, Dr. Jason Efstathiou, D. Phil., Dr. Adam Feldman, Dr. Allan Goldstein, Dr. Scott Greenstein, Prof. Dr. Paul Huang, Dr. Richard Johnson, Dr. Veikko Koivisto, Ph. D., Dr. John Loewenstein, Dr. Scott McDougal, Dr. Alec Meleger, Dr. George Palade, Ph. D., Nobel Prize, Dr. Popescu, Dr. Pupo, Prof. Dr. Harry Rubash, Dr. Paul Shellito, Dr. Leonard Tom.Starting from 1943, in a chronological order, we present the medicine history, which was commemorated in the last 75 years. There are also many attractive and historic photographs - I want to thank my wife for her assistance. This book, for the general public, reminds us of the famous quote of Voltaire about medical doctors and their assistants: "People who are occupied in the restoration of health to other people, by the joint exertion of skill and humanity, are above all the great of the Earth. They even partake of divinity, since to preserve and renew is almost as noble as to create."
