Here Am I is about discipleship, personal encounters with God, and responding to God's call. This book encourages all Christians, young and old, to become aware of God's presence. Concentrating on the background and call experience of three biblical characters: the child Samuel, Mary, the mother of Jesus, and the prophet Isaiah. Here Am I examines their pivotal, formative experiences and looks at what we can learn from them about our own unique call and disciplehood. Each chapter ends with a set of questions that highlight the theme of that chapter and encourages individual reflection and group discussion.
