Aprašymas
When bad news seems to be everywhere, look for the helpers all around.
A child, overwhelmed with the hard news of the world, asks his grandma, "What do you do when the world scares you?" So they go on a walk to look for community helpers and people doing simple acts of kindness. In the process, the child finds ways to help too, and the scary thoughts scatter like the shells of seeds around the bird feeder, "too thin and small to hurt me."
Poet James Crews brings his characteristic thoughtfulness to this gentle picture book about paying attention to the little acts of kindness all around us. Illustrator Phillip Cullen's artwork brings a walkable community to life in a way that makes you want to get to know your neighbors better too.
