Heavenly Treasures is the fifth book in what the author fondly refers to as the "Nuggets Series." The Word of God contains various forms of treasures from rich veins of truths and deep gold mines of wisdom to precious nuggets of inspiration. Like all treasures, heavenly gems must be searched out. Sometimes these treasures may require one to adventure deeply into the midst of that which is cold and lifeless or push through various obstacles of the present age to possess it. Sometimes treasures lie on the surface, and one must have trained eyes to discern them in among a host of other attractions.

In a sense, the treasures contained in this book were located on the surface because they were already exposed, but it takes the eyes of faith for such nuggets to catch the attention of the seeker. The author found these inspiring nuggets of quotations, stories, and pertinent information of our day in books, on the internet, and in articles. Some people may not appreciate their worth, but the author's main desire is to collect these nuggets, highlight their value within the treasure chest of a book in order to provide encouragement to the seasoned saint to continue pressing forward, embolden the weary soldier to stand on what is so, and the hungry seeker to be touched by a bit of heavenly honey as a means to continue on their journey. In the end, she hopes that the heavenly treasures will become woven into an heirloom that will serve as a blessing and enrich the faith of each person who opens it to take hold of its treasures.
