Sometime during the odyssey, our modern-day Odysseus is shipwrecked. Marooned on an enchanted isle, she waits in a literary manner in a literary manor until an ocean liner comes to her rescue. But is it a rescue? Or is it a plot to lure her into a misadventure involving a handsome stranger, a celebrated detective, and a priceless stolen artifact?

After the world tour, the travel journal gets picked up by an illustrious New England house, and the author-publisher interactions form the subplot. This comic, fast-paced traveler's tale will inspire readers to embark on world tours of their own.
