To keep herself afloat in college, con artist Lamb Sun convinces grieving families to offer up the souls of their departed loved ones to wed to other spirits in the afterlife. But when a marriage ceremony goes wrong, Lamb is left tied to a ghostly groom with a grudge to bear.

Forced into a pact with her departed dearest, Lamb scrambles to fulfil his growing list of demands while balancing college, a curious roommate and a budding relationship with another boy from her poetry class.

But she soon gets more than she bargained for when she realises that she hasn't just drawn one dead boy to her - she has unleashed something sinister onto campus. And if she doesn't find a way to banish them both back to the afterlife, she risks more lives than just her own...
