A collection of early poems written in the coastal town of Bournemouth at the turn of the millennium sees a young poet honing his craft and writing as a form of therapy for the pain of losing his first love. As drink and drug addiction begin to grip, the poet spirals into a depression for which the only remedy is to escape the town in which he grew up, before he is driven beyond the edge of his sanity.
