This Volume 2, like all the other volumes in this series of Volumes 1 to 8, and future ones, are the compilation of good food recipes collected from mothers, grandmothers, and daughters over the centuries past who lived both in the Volga Region of Russia and then migrated to other parts of the world, namely Canada and the United States. Of these forbearers, the descendants are the fortunate ones to inherit a legacy of richness in tasty foods, culture, and history. These recipes are a "must-have" to complete the traditions of the past in German-Russian cuisine.
