The mineral resources industry is one of the important industries of the world. Geologists and geological engineers are responsible for many aspects related to the exploitation of mineral deposits. Geologists and geological engineers must develop exploration programs to discover new mineral resources. Geologists and geological engineers are responsible for geology in the mines. They have to define the reserves and control the exploitation; finally they have to delineate constantly new reserves to maintain the mining activity.To do this, it manages, at the rate imposed by the exploitation, a knowledge of the deposit which it refines constantly thanks to information richer than the information available at the opening of the mine: observations with front, analyzes shooting holes, sampling, pre-exploitation surveys, etc.
