International Theological Seminary (ITS) celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2022. As we remembered this significant milestone of the seminary, it was important and meaningful for us recognize two long-time professors and former presidents, Joseph Tong and Melvin Loucks, who dedicated their lives to teaching and mentoring students at ITS. Hence, we decided to publish this book in honor of our two esteemed colleagues.

This book approaches the topics of theology, mission, and leadership from a global perspective. It consists of essays contributed by scholars and practitioners who minister and teach in a majority-world context or are familiar with that perspective.

The essays include ministry trends, leadership, missiological models, and theological viewpoints that emerge from the majority world context. We hope that the book serves as a valuable resource for pastors, teachers, and lay leaders who engage in ministry worldwide.
