'From Ship to Shore & A Whole Lot More' takes the reader on the extraordinary emotional and physical journey of Michelle Clarke as she transits through life from boy to man to woman. Divided into four parts, it tells the story of how Michael becomes Michelle as she navigates her way through heavenly home and hellish school years, to finding more than her sea legs during her twelve years in the 'real' man's arena of the Merchant Navy.
