Forests are much more than a bunch of trees, contrary to popular belief. They are complicated operating systems of interrelated biological, physical and chemical elements, whose biological features have constantly evolved to preserve itself. These complex combinations of climate, soils, trees and plants result in many varied types of forests throughout the globe.
